Dear subscriber,

Spring has a way of quietly inviting us back.

Back to what matters.
Back to what has been neglected.
Back to the parts of ourselves and our relationships that are still waiting to be seen.

In nature, renewal requires both attention and intention.

In relationships, it asks the same of us.

Over time, couples do not drift apart because they do not love each other.
They drift because small moments of disconnection go unattended, and the relationship slowly loses its sense of aliveness.

What I have come to understand, both personally and professionally, is this:

Love does not sustain itself. It is sustained through connection.

And connection is not a feeling.
It is something we practice.

Spring offers us a natural opening to begin again.

Not by fixing everything.
But by becoming curious again.
By softening.
By turning toward rather than away.

Sometimes, all it takes is a single new moment of understanding to begin restoring what feels lost.

A Heartfelt Invitation

This June, I will be offering an in-person Getting the Love You Want Workshop, based on the work of Harville Hendrix and Helen LaKelly Hunt. June 12 – 14/26. To register please contact Sandy, my assistant, or register here.

This is a powerful experiential weekend for couples who want to:
• reconnect emotionally
• understand the deeper roots of their patterns
• learn practical tools for creating safety and connection

Couples often leave the workshop not with everything resolved, but with something far more important - the experience of being truly heard and understood.

Upcoming Opportunities

In addition to the workshop, I will be offering a limited number of private intensives in the coming months.

These are designed for individuals or couples who are ready to do deeper, focused work in a condensed format.

Whether you are navigating disconnection, betrayal, recovery, or simply a desire to feel closer again, intensive work can accelerate the process in a meaningful way.

If this is something you have been considering, I encourage you to reach out. Availability will be limited.

Spring reminds us that renewal is always possible.

Not because circumstances change,
but because we choose to engage differently.

Connection is not the result of love. It is the pathway back to it.
With warmth and intention,
Maureen Brine
